Andy is doing the blog so be sure and check them out at the link above. I just wrote a short article on Floyd, VA for the Virginia Bed and Breakfast Association. Thought I would copy it here and see if we could get any hits for the many links I put in it.
Floyd, Virginia
Floyd, Virginia (www.floydtourismdirectory.com) ...who would ever think that a one traffic light town could be so hopping, but it is. The town of Floyd is nestled between the Blue Ridge Parkway(www.blueridgeparkway.org) and the Appalachian Trail (www.appalachiantrail.org) Virginia Tech (www.vt.edu), Radford University (www.radford.edu), and The Crooked Road(www.crookedroad.org) It is one of the purest examples of authentic mountain music character, (Floyd Fest, Wine Down, Floyd Country Store Friday Night Jamboree, Pickin' Porch) and is a must-visit on your itinerary. Floyd epitomizes a little of "today" and lots of "yesterday" all uniquely blended into genuine, Blue Ridge Mountain life and character.
There is never a want for things to do in this part of southwest, Virginia ..there are float trips and fly-fishing(www.greasycreekoutfitters.com) mountain music venues(www.floydcountrystore.com), and wineries, a meadery, and a hard cider maker (www.mountainroadwineexperience.com), all waiting to show you there wares. There is hiking, picnicking and scenic overlooks, antiquing, and artisans galore. If you have been here before, we know you will be back, if you have yet to come your are in for a real treat. Hope to see you soon in Floyd.

Blogs: March 13, 2010
I am fascinated with blogs, who has the time or interest to read them, I can understand writing them, maybe to hear yourself think or to express what your thinking, or even what's going on. However every social media authority says you must have a blog, blogging is where it's at. So now Mountain Song Inn has a blog. Check it out, there might be something there of interest, or maybe not.
