Floyd is one of the purest examples of authentic mountain music character (Floyd Fest, Wine Down, General Store Friday Night Jamboree, Pickin' Porch) and is a must-visit on your itinerary. Minutes from the inn, Floyd epitomizes a little of "today"; lots of "yesterday"; all uniquely blended into genuine, Blue Ridge Mountain life and character.The New River Valley, home of the nationally famous "Hokies" of VA Tech, and Radford University, all lie within a 30 minute scenic drive.

Interstate 81 and Interstate 77 both also lie within 30 minutes of the inn, providing "Maine / Florida" travelers an ideal, midway repose.
